LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — Moore County High School’s 2016 homecoming court was announced last week. This year’s homecoming court includes (front row, from left) sophomore Bailey Frazier; freshman Jana Ledbetter; 8th-grader Lauren Malone; 7th-grader Taylen Guyote; (back row, from left) seniors Hannah Woods, Mika Rainey and Jennie Lingle; and juniors Karina Rode and Mika Long.
The Homecoming Queen, which will be one of the three seniors, will be crowned in a ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday prior to Moore County’s football game against Grace Christian Academy-Franklin. On Monday, the juniors beat the seniors in the annual Powderpuff game, while Austin Waters was crowned the 2016 Homecoming King. Because school is out on Friday, a homecoming parade was held on Thursday afternoon. Go online to <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxiD6HRNAX0> to see a slideshow of the Homecoming Parade.
