LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — Moore County High School elected its 2015 Homecoming attendants last week and will announce a Homecoming Queen on Friday night.
This year’s senior attendants are Mariah Ward, Emily Powell and Caycee Byrom. Junior attendants are Haylee Goodwin and Brianna Steelman. The sophomore attendant is Ivy Naquin and the freshman attendant is Kynleigh Fanning. Representing Moore County Middle School are eighth-grade attendant Keely Crowder and seventh-grade attendant Abby Sweeney.
The Homecoming Queen will be crowned during a 6 p.m. ceremony before Friday’s football game against visiting Summertown.
The 2015 Homecoming King will be crowned before Tuesday’s annual powderpuff football game. The powderpuff game was just one of the many activities at MCHS during homecoming week.
The weeklong event culminates on Friday, first with the annual Homecoming Parade, which begins at 2 p.m., and then with the crowning ceremony and finally with the football game.
The Raiders are looking for their third straight victory and will welcome a Summertown Eagles team playing its first season of varsity football. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Raider Stadium.
