Southern Wheels ‘N’ Motion Car Show Celebrates 25 years

The Southern Wheels ‘N’ Motion Car Club celebrates 25 years with the 2017 show to be held on Saturday June 17th, 2017 at Waggoner Park in Tullahoma. The public is invited and entrance to the show is free. The show is recognized by many as one of the best judged car shows in the MidSouth Region. Hundreds of automobiles from all over the United States will be featured again in this year’s show. The 2017 crowd is expected to be the largest in club history. The day begins at 8am and will continue throughout the afternoon thanks to show sponsors, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Chick-Fil-A and Coca-Cola. This year’s show features a special appearance by the actors from the hit TV show “The Dukes of Hazzard”. John Schneider (Bo Duke), Tom Wopat (Luke Duke) and Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) will all be on hand for a photo opportunity and autograph session with their fans from 11am until 2pm, a “Ride With A Duke” opportunity and an exciting entrance to the show that should not be missed, according to show organizers. There is no charge to meet the Dukes of Hazzard cast and get a picture with them. Each actor will allow items to be autographed for only $20. A limited amount of FastTrack Wristbands are available for only $25 each. These wristbands provide front of the line access to the actors. To purchase a FastTrack Wristband send an email request to: tullahomadukes@ gmail.com and a Paypal invoice will be generated. Please note the FastTrack Wristbands will not be available for purchase the day of the show. Registration for show vehicles is 8am till 12pm with judging to begin at noon. Car owners are encouraged to arrive early with the anticipated number of entries and attendees expected to delay entrance to the venue. There will be 45 judged classes with 3 trophies per class and $100 Best Club Participation Award. There will be music and games and concessions available. Funds raised from this event are used to benefit numerous charitable causes in the Middle Tennessee area.
