Buchanan, Charles L. ‘Buck,’ 69, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Lynchburg Nursing Center. The family received friends Tuesday, May 14 at Lynchburg Funeral Home. Funeral Services were to be held at 7 p.m., with Rev. James E. Smith and Rev. Merle Mead officiating. A private family burial is planned. A native of Moore County, Buchanan, was a son of the late Charles Buchanan and Dorothy Snell Boswell.

Hart, Billy, 80, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital after a short illness. A native of Moore County, he was a son of the late Claude and Annie McNatt. Solomon, Hilda Mae, 92, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Mountain View in Winchester. She was born in Perry County, Tenn., on March 7, 1921; retired from Maremont Gabriel Corp. Her parents were the late Stanley and Donie Parrish Madden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Solomon, and a son, Gerald Solomon. Peak, Lily Mae Simpson, of the Oakland, Tenn., retired employee of Wilson Sporting Goods in Tullahoma and wife of the late Roy Peak, departed this life Thursday evening, April 25, 2013 at the Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Germantown, Tenn., where she had been a patient for two days. Bondurant, Martha Elaine Manson, 92, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday April 14, 2013 at her residence after a short illness. A native of Murfreesboro, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Manson and Nelle Thompson Manson Couch. She was a bookkeeper for the Farm and Home Store she and her late husband Richard owned. Tripp, Kenneth Howard, 93, of Nashville, formerly of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Hendersonville Medical Center. He was a retired aircraft mechanic.
